Here are some fun tips for working through the Spanish course on Easy Peasy All-in-One-High School:

1- Read Spanish out loud.  At first you may look for audio that you can read along with but as you progress and learn the sounds of the alphabet, read out loud.  Speaking and hearing will increase your understanding rate.

2-Write things out. Take the long way to vocabulary study by making your own lists or flashcards or labeled drawings.  When your assignment says 3-5 sentences, go for the maximum.  Writing things out can help your muscle memory and will activate more senses.  Then go back to tip #1 and read Spanish out loud.
