2016 Courses

I’ve gotten up the first two course of our last year’s worth of core courses. I got up Bible and PE/Health, not big ones, but it feels good to have something ready for next year.

Next will be calculus. That will be BC calculus for those of whom that means something. The last science is earth science and the final history course is going to be the geography/cultures course, but my plan is to give it a focus on governments. I’ve been mulling it over for a long time.

You don’t submit any assignments to us. That was just used by the teacher who put the course online. We are just using it in our own, not as part of their class.

Do you mean for high school? Yes, there will be one more. We’ve actually been discussing a different sort of course for that where students would pick a focus. Anyway, yes, this spring there should be one more high school English course.

Thank you so much for all your efforts. I’ve been researching the need to put together my 10th grader’s history ‘core’ for next year when he’ll be needing to cover and satisfy our state core requirement for “United States History: 1877 to Present”. It appears that the ga virtual site covers the core guidelines under their “11th Grade World History” from the links ‘Westward Expansion'(1877) thru to ‘The Modern Era’. The World History as presently posted on EP was a core requirement for him in 9th. Will let you know how it turns out as progresses.
Thanks again so much for such a fulfilling, spiritual, and individual building all-in-one site!
