Course Description: Students will engage in real-world and hands-on problem-solving while using their developing skills in algebra. Students will learn new material through animations, videos, reading, and guided practice. The topics covered in this course include: a review of algebra basics, complex numbers, solving and graphing various types of equations (linear, absolute value, quadratic, polynomial, exponential, logarithmic, radical, and rational), modeling real-world scenarios with functions, systems of equations and inequalities, conic sections, sequences and series, data analysis, and probability. Grading will be based on quizzes, a midterm exam, and a final exam.
